Fred Allred

Founder/Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Fred Allred is a native of Fentress County Tennessee and the founding pastor of Faith Baptist Tabernacle.  Saved at the age of 11, he was called into the ministry when he was only 18.  He was ordained at South Main Street Baptist Church in August 29, 1973. It was there, under the leadership of his grandfather, Stanley Cravens, he became an associate pastor.  He then continued his education by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Theological Studies from Clarksville School of Theology.

In the Spring of 1980, Pastor Allred and his wife Brenda prayerfully organized a new congregation in a small community room in Jamestown, TN. On May 11, thirty charter members came together to form Faith Baptist Tabernacle, a church committed to fulfilling the great commission, going out into the world and spreading the gospel, developing others to be disciples of their faith with a heart for missions at home and abroad.

Pastor Allred also founded Faith Christian Academy, a ministry of Faith Baptist Tabernacle; Bible Believer’s Network and New Life Studios which operates two 24 hour Gospel radio stations that broadcast across Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountain region.  This ministry also operates its’ Mission Point properties and Mission Point Jubilee, an event every October overlooking the colorful splendor of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.  As a student of Bible Prophecy for more than 40 years, Pastor Allred led numerous trips to the Holy Lands to study the intricacies of the geography and physical details involved historically, presently and in the future for events of significance.  He produced two video presentations on the subject of Bible Prophecy: Behold He Comes and Revelations Visualized. These presentations along with his teachings led him to speak across the country in various churches and conferences. Furthermore, much to his credit is his expertise as an esteemed business man and political leader in his community and state, making an impact for Conservative Values.

Pastor Allred stepped away from full time ministry in 2019 after health issues prevented him from continuing his calling as Pastor of FBT.

Ms. Brenda unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord in January of 2024.

Andrew BEaty

Youth pastor

Andrew Beaty is the Youth Pastor at Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Jamestown, Tennessee, where his roots run deep. Raised in the very church where he now ministers, Andrew Beaty is the son of Steve and Corinna Beaty, with Steve serving as a deacon at Faith Baptist. Having grown up in the youth group himself, Andrew has a unique understanding of the spiritual needs and challenges of the young people he now leads, making his ministry both personal and passionate.

After graduating from Word of Life Bible Institute, where he spent a year in Florida and another in New York, Andrew felt a clear call to disciple others. His time at Word of Life sharpened his understanding of Scripture and strengthened his desire to disciple others. His second goal in ministry, second only to glorifying God, is to make disciples of Jesus. Every aspect of his work as youth pastor is driven by this core purpose, and he strives to build a vibrant, Christ-centered youth community that reflects this mission.

In August 2024, Andrew  married Abigail, who shares his heart for ministry. Together, they serve the young people of Faith Baptist, seeking to not only teach them God’s Word but to model a Christ-centered life in both their marriage and ministry. They are excited about what God is doing in their church and look forward to many more years of investing in the next generation.
