Kid's Sunday School

Kid's Sunday School classes are offered all the way from Kindergarten - 6th grade.  Classes are divided based upon age/grade levels that can work cooperatively and are on similar learning levels. Bible preaching, teaching and singing are important for children as well as adults. Kid's Sunday School is an environment where kids are challenged by the Word of God on their level. It's also a place where children develop friendships with their peers and have opportunities to share their talents with one another, thus preparing them for "big church" in the years ahead. Though we have loads of fun in Sunday School, everything we do with the kids is based upon God's living and active Word: the Bible.

The goal of Kid's Sunday School is to give children the foundation they need, to lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus, and then transform their lives for Jesus. Our teachers strive to present material in ways that each and every child can understand. Our teachers work hard during the week to ensure that lessons are adequately prepared in a way children will understand.

King’s Kids meets during the Sunday Morning Worship Service and is a fun and exciting children’s church program for children, ages 4 years old to 5th grade. We sing fun and worshipful music, as well as play games with several ways to win some prizes. There is usually a puppet show or skit that reinforces the theme of the day. Amidst all the fun, we have no higher priority than to lead children to a closer relationship with Christ. With that focus in mind, children will have a chance to memorize a Bible verse each week and will hear a message from God’s Word out of a curriculum that goes through the entire Bible in a seven year period.

AWANA clubs

Every Wednesday night during the school year, children two years old through fifth grade are able to participate in the Awana Clubs program. This special program for children is designed to develop faithful followers of Jesus Christ through proven methods of evangelism and discipleship. Each child receives a handbook to work through at home during the week with their parents and is encouraged to memorize Scripture as they study. Each night includes Bible lessons, one on one discipleship through their handbook, and exciting games.
