Pastor Fred Allred is a native of Fentress County Tennessee and the founding pastor of Faith Baptist Tabernacle. Saved at the age of 11, he was called into the ministry when he was only 18. He was ordained at South Main Street Baptist Church in August 29, 1973. It was there, under the leadership of his grandfather, Stanley Cravens, he became an associate pastor. He then continued his education by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Theological Studies from Clarksville School of Theology.
In the Spring of 1980, Pastor Allred and his wife Brenda prayerfully organized a new congregation in a small community room in Jamestown, TN. On May 11, thirty charter members came together to form Faith Baptist Tabernacle, a church committed to fulfilling the great commission, going out into the world and spreading the gospel, developing others to be disciples of their faith with a heart for missions at home and abroad.
Pastor Allred has also founded Faith Christian Academy, a ministry of Faith Baptist Tabernacle; Bible Believer’s Network and New Life Studios which operates two 24 hour Gospel radio stations that broadcast across Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountain region. This ministry also operates its’ Mission Point properties and Mission Point Jubilee, an event every October overlooking the colorful splendor of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. As a student of Bible Prophecy for more than 40 years, Pastor Allred has been led to make numerous trips to the Holy Lands to study the intricacies of the geography and physical details involved historically, presently and in the future for events of significance. He has produced two video presentations on the subject of Bible Prophecy: Behold He Comes and Revelations Visualized. These presentations along with his teachings have led him to speak across the country in various churches and conferences. Furthermore, much to his credit is his expertise as an esteemed business man and political leader in his community and state, making an impact for Conservative Values.
